WOODSFIELD Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, for Lola V. Burke, 82, of Jerusalem, Ozark Community, who died Wednesday (May 9, 2001) at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, W.Va.
Delmar "Bud" Burke, Jeff Rich and Pastor Wayne Teafatiller will officiate. Burial will be in Cameron Cemetery, Cameron.
Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She was born March 20, 1919, in Nickelsville, Va., daughter of the late John Hop and Lillian (Salyers) Dingus. Mrs. Burke was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a former employee at Woodsfield Senior Citizens meal site for 12 years. She was a member of Beallsville Church of Christ, Beallsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Burke, on Nov. 8, 1990; an infant son; three brothers, Robert Dingus, Willard Dingus and Walson Dingus.

She leaves five sons, Luther (Fran) Burke of Woodsfield, and Delmar "Bud" (Vivian) Burke and J.D. "Tater" (Debbie), both of Beallsville, Johnie (Linda) Burke of Baltic, and Denzil (Teresa) Burke of Sugarcreek; a daughter, Mrs. Graydon (Brenda) Lallathin of Malaga; a special daughter-in-law, Lucille Dingus of Nickelsville, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; and special friends of the family.
