Birth: Nov. 18, 1855
Chickasaw County
Mississippi, USA
Death: 1910
Montgomery County
Arkansas, USA

Fannie is the 2nd wife of Jacob Parker Holliday and the mother of his 13 children, including Joseph and an infant who is buried by her and Jake. It is unknown if Wardlow is her madian name or a married name before Jacob and her married. Fannie had a son, James Osker (as it is spelled in the census record), by an unknown father. She also had a son named William Reed Holliday. It is a fact that she came to Arkansas with Sam Gardner and his family. One story is that she was pregnant by the husband of the family she lived with and I have a copy of a letter that states she was pregnant by young Sam Gardner Jr. I have been in contact with Sam Gardner's descendants and they confirmed that William Reed Holliday was indeed a Gardner...Sam Gardner and Fannie's son. Jacob Parker Holliday raised him as his own and as a Holliday and he was called Bill Holliday. Sam Gardner and his wife, a Philpott took in and raised orphaned Indian children and it is thought that Fannie was an orphaned Indian child that lived with them. One other scenario is that Fannie was sister or step sister to Sam Gardner. I found a census record with a Sam and Fannie Gardner and the ages were the same as theirs and they were the only ones in the one else listed. Parents could have been out working and left the children at home. Anyone who might have stories passed down or have something to add to verify who Fannie is PLEASE write me. Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated! The year of 1910 for her death cant yet be proven as exact year. If anyone knows when she died and how that would be appreciated also.
