Jason E. McBride (34) of Curwensville, was born Dec 10, 1978 died Dec 10, 2012 as a result of a fatal auto accident.
A 1997 graduate of Clearfield Area High School, Jason continued his education earning a diploma in Marketing & Distribution from CCC&TC in 1997, as well as an Associate degree Business Administration, Management, & Marketing from South Hills School of Business & Technology, State College in 1999.
He was currently employed as a salesclerk for Sears of DuBois, and prior to that was employed by Cen-Clear Child Services in Philipsburg and had also worked for Fullington Auto Bus Company in Clearfield and J. J. Powell Oil Co. in Philipsburg.
Son of Edward & Kathy (Kelly) McBride of Woodland, Jason had a love of hunting, archery, golf, restoring his 1975 Ford Mustang, motor cycles, working on cars and much more.
He is survived by his mother Kathy and brother Kelly McBride of Woodland, paternal grand mother Dorothy (Hull) McBride, father Edward and step-mother Tammy (Bumbarger) McBride, half sisters Heather Kirby and Robyn McBride of Clearfield, and a step sister and step brother Jackie Glace and Shane Peters. Jason is also survived by his Uncle David Kelly of Curwensville, Aunt Lynda Kelly of Clearfield and niece, Eliza Hall of Clearfield.
Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Otis and Diane (Ross) Kelly of Curwensville, as well as paternal grandfather Patrick McBride of Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until time of services at 3 PM. Cremation will follow and ashes will be returned to the family to be scattered in private.
