George Gibb died at his house on the Cochranton road Friday morning at 11:25, aged 74, after a lingering illness.
He is survived by his widow and four children: Marian, Sewickley; Mrs. C. A. Croft, Sewickley, Mrs. Carl Rogge, Germany and Malcolm, Akron, O.; two brothers, John G., of Damascus, O., and James of Edgeworth.
He was formerly an engineer on the P & L.E. and after his retirement moved to this vicinity where he had lived for 15 years and where he had made many friends.
