HENRY CLARK SUITER
Youngest son of Paris Jefferson Suiter and Arrabelle Roberts Suiter, siblings include: Emma Suiter Smith, Josephine Suiter Smith, Floyd Suiter, Lucinda Suiter Rothwell and Winfield (Windy) Suiter. One-half siblings are Paris Webb and Margaret Webb.
He married Lucile Pence on Mar 27, 1915 in Butler County, Oh. She was born in 1894 in Springboro, Oh to Frank and Tillie (Readmon) Pence. She died young, with no issue.
Henry enlisted in the National Army on May 9, 1918 at Fort Thomas, Ky. He was assigned to the Supply Company 54 Infantry to Discharge Wagoner June 1, 1918; Sergeant on Aug. 11, 1918. Meuse-Argonne; Defensive Sector. American Expeditionary Forces July 6, 1918 to June 9, 1919. He was given an Honorable discharge June 19, 1919.
He married Anna Mae Collins on Mar 13, 1920 in Butler County, Oh. Two children were born of this marriage, Donald J. Suiter, abt. 1921, and Betty A. Suiter 1923. Anna died Sept 23, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio, leaving 2 small children. Henry married Helen E. Hoesman on July 31, 1927 and together they raised Donald and Betty, but had no children of their own.
Betty died at the age of 26. She was an Army nurse and is buried in Woodside Cemetery also. Donald died (married to??) at the age of 38 and is buried at the Dayton National Cemetery.
