"Mrs. Orie Owens Jett was the daughter of Aaron and Elizabeth Ormes Jett.
She was the wife of Lewis Jett, a prominent Robertson County farmer.
Orie was a lifelong resident of Robertson County and a member of Mt. Olivet Christian Church.
She was survived by an adopted son, Ralph Jett, who resided with Mrs. Jett, and one brother, John Owens of Mt. Olivet.
She died at Haysworth Hsopital.
She was buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery on April 19, 1949."
