also: 18th Massachusetts Regiment, Company A. Died February 10 (or 12) 1863 at the 1st Division 5th AC , U.S. Hospital at Windmill Point, Virginia. Died of hepatitis. Buried at Fredericksburg National, Va., site 5370.

Listed on the New Bedford City Council's "Roll of Honor" which lists those soldiers and sailors from the Greater New Bedford Area who were killed or died during the Civil War. New Bedford City Council, May, 1869.
