Millard P. Gerhardt of Binghamton passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at home in Binghamton, NY. He was 101.
The son of the late Mary and George Gerhardt, he was born in Fremont Center on October 8, 1915. Millard was a member of the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church; a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific; a member and union representative of Amalgamated Transit Union Division #1145. He was retired from Broome County Transit. He was an active volunteer in church and community activities.

He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy; son Douglas Gerhardt; sister Lois Huggler; sister-in-law Eleanor Muller, and her husband, Walter Muller.
