Brenda Lou Wilburn, age 69, of Del Rio passed away at her home on October 29, 2016.
She worked at Grassy Fork School for 33 years for special education.
She was a special lady, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, teacher, genealogist, writer, historian, and philandthropist. Brenda was many things to many people, most of all a good Christian lady. She was a member of Church of Christ at Grassy Fork.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Leonard and Doris Sparks Green, sisters, Eula Wilson and Geraldine Green; brothers, Dale and Johnny Green.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, four grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law, lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, November 3, 2016 with funeral services to follow at 7:00 pm at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Olie Williams, Minister of Cosby Church of Christ and Brother Wilson Messer officiating.
Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 4, 2016 in Green-Laws Cemetery. Arrangements by Manes Funeral Home
