Perkins "PaPaw" Roberson, 83, farmer, died of cancer on Monday, September 4, 1995, at his home at Crowder. Services were at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, at Greater Zion Church of God in Christ in Marks, where he was a member, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cooley's Mortuary of Batesville had charge.
Mr, Roberson, the husband of Louella J. Roberson, also leaves three daughters, Jeffie Henderson of Crowder, Evelyn Smith and Mandy Wilkins, both of Boston; six sons, Ezell Roberson of Charleston, Ben James Roberson of Greenville, Robert Lee Roberson of Augusta, GA, Joe Berry Roberson of Fayetteville, and Isaac Roberson and Arthur Roberson, both of Boston; two step daughters, Viola Kinnar of Jonestown and Bernice Meeks of St.Louis; a sister, Katherine Roberson of Marks, 50 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
