KINGSTON -- Services for Billy Don Bean, 62, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, with Cole Tidwell officiating. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.

Born on Jan. 3, 1943, in El Reno, Okla., to James Carl "J.C." and Geneva Faye Smith Bean, he died on March 9, 2005, in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Billy was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Madill High School in 1962. He lived in Okemah, Okla., for several years and moved back to Lebanon, living there the last 30 years. Billy was self-employed in the construction business and dozer service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling stories and dealing antiques.

Survivors include children, Emily Bean Jimenez and Daryl Russell Bean, Hemet, Calif., and J.C Bean, Chicago; his parents, J.C. and Faye, and brother, Mike Bean, Lebanon; a sister, Susie Matthews, Ardmore; and three grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew and Katie Jimenez; several nieces and nephews.

Bearers will be C.M. Seran, Kenney Shaffer, Dennis Geary, Bobby Joe Shebester, Charlie Hilton and Richard Cain. Honorary bearers are Marvin McCurdy, Butch Whitten, Charlie Rushing and Sonny Cook.

Lunch will be served at Lebanon Senior Citizens Center following the service.
