Mrs. Delia Sadtler, formerly of Baltimore, died yesterday at Hugh Point, N. C. She was the widow of George Washington Sadtler, formerly senior member of the optical firm of George T. Sadtler & Sons.
Mrs. Sadtler, until she moved to North Carolina after the death of her husband, was a leader in Baltimore club activities and president of the Eleventh Division, United Women of Maryland. She was the first president of the Maryland Parent-Teacher Association, a member of the Lend-a-Hand Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and promoted the work of the Maryland Society, War of 1812, and Col. Nicholas Ruxton Chapter, Children of the American Revolution.
She was a daughter of the late Judge Thaddeus Banks, of Hollidaysburg, Pa., and is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Alvin Robertson, 1628 Linden avenue. Funeral services will be held in Baltimore tomorrow, with burial in Greenmount Cemetery."
