Katie Justus, 58, of Sevierville passed away Friday, October 14, 2016. She was born April 13, 1958 in Sevier County. Katie loved animals and her family. Her grandchildren were her whole world. Katie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lou Ellar and Coy Maples; and brother, Fred Maples.
Katie is survived by her husband, John Justus; daughter, Roxanne Justus and Kevin Smith; son, Calvin Rose; grandchildren, Makayla, Jamie, Kyley, Casey, and Bethany; sisters, Faye Dellinger, Barbara Allen, Christine Tate, and Irene Teaster; brothers, Shirl Maples and wife, Jean, Danny Maples, Johnny Maples and wife, Kim; sister-in-law and special friend, Sue Phillips; sister-in-law, Virginia Newman and husband, David; brothers-in-law, Bill Justus and Larry Justus; special friend, Sue Ogle; and favorite friend of all, Roscoe.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, October 17th with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Rev. Wesley Carr and Rev. Jimmy Maples will officiate. Interment 11 AM Tuesday at Justus Cemetery.
