Dorothy M. Harr, 76, of South Bend, IN passed away at 11:57 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home. She was born on December 31, 1939 in Galien, MI to the late Eli and Marie (Smith) Marshall. On April 14, 1961 in South Bend, IN, she was united in marriage to Ivan Harr who survives.

Mrs. Harr is also survived by two daughters, Anita Nichols and Jennifer Aguilar, both of South Bend, IN; three sons, Charlie (Kathy) Black, David Harr, both of South Bend, IN and Todd (Jane) Harr of Mishawaka, IN; twelve grandchildren, Emily (Drew) Hale, Charles Black, Jr., Olivia (Ruben) Cruz, Mollie Nichols, Rodger Nichols, Jr., Holly Nichols, Joshua Harr, David Davis, Ashley Nichols, Alyssa (Malcolm Donaldson) Nichols, Allia Aguilar and Eli Aguilar; sixteen great grandchildren, Tony, Anika and Nick Aguilar, Kali and Eric Torres, Leighla Nichols, Leo Donaldson, Lily and Joey Garcia, Marco Olvera, Jr., Shay Garrett, Cataleya and Chevy Cruz and Oliver, Austin and Hunter Hale and brother, Gale "Sonny" (Marlene) Marshall of Marcellus, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Amanda Ezra; and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Harr was a lifelong area resident. She was an antique dealer for many years at Thieves' Market, also at Shipshewana and Reits Flea Market. Mrs. Harr was sharp-witted and loved to be bossy. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed old jewelry, wilderness reality television shows, puzzle books, reading, baking, collecting angels and having family dinners. Christmas season was her favorite. She loved country music, especially George Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, October 17, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend.
