FORMER RESIDENT OF QUINCY DIES
Miss Ada Tillson Expires in Omaha —Will Be Buried in This
City.
Mrs. Oliver Glenn received word this morning that Miss Ada Tillson. formerly of this city. died suddenly this morning in Omaha, Neb. Miss Tillson was the daughter of Gen. John Tillson and his wife, Ann Eliza, and the granddaughter of Gov. John Wood. She was born in Quincy February 16, 1834, and was 63 years of age. Gen. Tillson died in Quincy in 1892 and soon after the family moved to Omaha, where Mrs. Tillson died in 1905. The family home in Quincy was near Twentieth and Spring street, and the family was one of the most prominent ones of early days in this city. Burial will be in Quincy, the funeral party to leave for this city Thursday night.
