AMMON, ID -- Deric Wayne Cleverley, 26, of Ammon, passed away December 16, 2006, at his home.

He was born October 2, 1980, at Rexburg, Idaho, to Van Floyd Cleverley and Arlene Marie Ellis Cleverley. He grew up and attended schools in Rexburg. At the age of 13, he moved with his family to Payson, Utah, where he attended Payson High School. He moved back to the Rexburg and Idaho Falls area at the age of 18, and lived here until the time of his death.

On December 1, 1998, he married Jamie Lee Sharp in Provo, Utah. They were later divorced. He worked as a journeyman framer and carpenter.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed rock climbing, fishing, camping, and snow boarding. Deric especially loved being with his children and an aunt, Jackie Buhler of Idaho Falls.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne Cleverley and Sharon Ellis.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2006, at the Ammon LDS 11th Ward, 1100 South Tiebreaker, with Bishop Paul Fairbourn officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
