Ernest Lee Wright, age 60 of Pigeon Forge went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
He was a member of Hurst Chapel Baptist Church. He spent most of his life working as a chef in Sevierville and Gatlinburg. He was a wonderful husband, father, and papaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Emma Lee Wright, mother and father-in-law, Bonnie and Stanley McCoig, sisters, Addie Elmore and Sussie Reagan.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gail Wright, his daughters Christy Blalock and husband Andy, Kellyn Adams and husband Cameron; grandson Henry Blalock; sisters Judy Garrett and husband J.D., Mamie Huskey and husband Tom, Ada Coffey and husband Jerry, Louise Sweet and husband Bob; sisters-in-law Judy McCoig, Sue Ward, Kim Eberhardt and husband David; brother-in-law Ted McCoig and wife Debbie, special friends Ted and Rhonda Cogdill, Jeff and Judy Blalock, and Sandi Prichard.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family.
