James Earl Wonder, 54, a former resident, died at the home of his son, Craig Wonder, of Martinsburg, Blair county with whom he resided [Died Jan. 2, 1942] Mr. Wonder was a blacksmith in Morrellville [Johnstown PA] for many years. At one time he was part proprietor of the B. & O. Tavern on Washington Street. He left Johnstown soon after the flood of 1936 and spent much of his time in Florida. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Pearl Rose (Litzinger) Wonder; One son, Craig Wonder, Martinsburg, Mother Mrs. Miriam Wonder, Ono, near Lebanon PA. Friends will be received at the Craig Wonder home until Monday morning when the remains will removed to Lebanon. Burial will be in a cemetery at Ono.
