Rev. William Doss born Sumner Co. TN, aug 19 1819. His father died when he was just 9 years old. He became a Methodist preacher and was licensed on No 26 1842. He was ordained as a deacon Nov 8 1746, elder Nov. 7 1847. He married Annie Mariah Hughes October 19 1847.
