Howard Joseph Hoppenhauer, Jr., 76, of Mauldin, loving husband of Johanna Gough Hoppenhauer, died October 3, 2012.
Born in Carthage, NY, he was a son of the late Dr. Howard and Muriel Rafferty Hoppenhauer.
Howard served in the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a retired Project Manager from MetLife Insurance Company. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Joanne Hoppenhauer of Laurens; a son, Michael Hoppenhauer and his wife, Denise of Greer; three grandchildren, Carly Frick, Callie and Sean Hoppenhauer; a sister, Arline Doyle; three brothers, Robert, Richard and Larry Hoppenhauer; and several nieces and nephews.
