MAUDE BAUSCH: 89; Hoyt, died Monday [3-14] at Holton Hosp. MrsBausch was a teacher before she retired. She was born at Boscobel 19 Aug 1898, a dau of Charles Mark & Rhoda Ann Dowling Seely. She lived in the Hoyt-Mayetta communities 70 years. She previously lived in DecaturCnty from 1906-1911 when she moved to the Grove Community northwest of Topeka. MrsBausch was a member of StFrancis Xavier CatholicChurch & StFrancis AltarSoc-Mayetta. She also was a member of the Lincoln Social Club & Retired Teachers Assn.
She married Jacob Bausch 31 Dec 1918 at Holton, he survives. Other survivors include dau: Patricia Ann Schwermann-Topeka; sons: Edward-Hoyt; Ivan "Bob"-Mayetta; a sis: MayeE Swanson-Topeka; 9 grandchildren & 11 gr grandchildren.
Arrangements by Mercer Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was held Mar 17 at St Francis Xavier Church-Mayetta. The celebrant was FrBob Hasenkamp.
Casketbearers were her grandsons: Richard, Dale, Jake, Lyle & Edward Bausch & Ernest Louk. Interment was in StJoseph Cem-Hoyt.
