Death of Fulton Darrow

Fulton Darrow, 75, father of Reginald Darrow of East Lake Rd., died Sunday, June 7, 1959, at the home of his second son, George K. Darrow, in Concord, Calif. Mr. Darrow was stricken with cancer last November.

He was born Apr. 2, 1884, in Conesus, the son of Mahlon and Clara Cole Darrow, and was a graduate of Livonia High School. He resided also in Livonia and Avon. In 1951 he retired after 50 years of service as a conductor with the Erie Railroad.

His wife, the former Lera Westlake, predeceased him three years ago, and following her death Mr. Darrow spent some time in Florida before going to California to be with his son.

Surviving in addition to his two sons is a sister, Mrs. Laura Lerch of Rochester.

Funeral services were conducted in California. Ashes will be committed at a future date at Arnold Cemetery, Conesus.

Livonia

Word was received last week of the death of Fulton Darrow in Concord, Calif, at the home of his son, George. Mr. Darrow, a late resident of Conesus and East Lake Road was the husband of Lera Westlake of this village, who passed away three years ago. Another son, Reginald and a sister, Laura Lerch of Rochester, survive. Burial will be in Arnold Cemetery, Conesus.
