Elizabeth J. Westfall passed away at the Baptist Health Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Scotia, on Wednesday, February 20, 2002. She was 99.

Elizabeth was born in Delanson in 1902. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Susan Allen Wood, and the wife of the late John Ervin Westfall.

Elizabeth was a former school teacher and taught in Schenectady in a oneroom schoolhouse. She was a member of the Duanesburg Reformed Presbyterian Church, the church's Ladies Auxiliary and Sharing Group, and was also a charter member of the Duanesburg Ambulance Auxiliary. She served as president of the WWI Auxiliary for ten years and was past president of the District 7 Auxiliary. She also served as the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Board of Administration of the State Dept. of New York and was a member of the Duanesburg Senior Citizens.

She is survived by one son and daugher-in-law, Allen and Nancy Westfall of Delanson; one grandson, Gary Westfall of Delanson; and two great-granddaughters, Alicia Westfall of Delanson and Danielle Audette of Schenectady.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Elvis, Clarence and George Wood.
