Mrs. Panning Died Tuesday; Hooper Woman Native Of This County, Died After Recent Stroke

Hooper-
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Panning, 73, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m., at the Panning home, and at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. E. Eckhardt officiating.

She died Tuesday at her home after a stroke which she suffered on Easter.

Mrs. Panning was born on Feb. 7, 1876 in Washington County and was baptized on Apr. 9, 1876 by Rev. E. J. Frese, and confirmed on Mar. 30, 1890, by the Rev. A. Hofius. On October 6, 1899, she married Henry F. Panning.

Surviving are seven sons and daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Munkelwitz of Waukon, Minn., Mrs. Wilma Stork of Arlington, Paul of Fremont, and Otis, Louis, Gilbert and Mildreth of Hooper, five brother, Adolph Hagerbaumer of Fremont, Charles and Fred of Hooper, Ed of Clarks and William of Knoxville, Ia., one sister, Mrs. Augusta Bishop, Sioux Falls, S. D. and seven grandchildren. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
