Joseph Robert Peevey was born on September 2, 1930 in Douglas, AZ to Joseph M. & Sarah E Peevey. He entered eternal rest on September 11, 2016 in Safford.
Joseph loved the simple things in life. A good jigsaw puzzle, a challenging word search or just some quiet time to read a good book. Most of all, Joseph loved his wife Ann very much! He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Joseph will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ann V. Peevey, his 4 children; Marilyn Edwards of Silver City, NM; Robert Peevey of Safford; Valerie Morris of Safford and Andy Peevey of Phoenix. His 3 sisters; Pat Gartin, Peggy Mayes and Faye Schoen. His 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Sarah Peevey; his 2 sisters; Lucy Verbeck and Louise Rhodes and his 2 brothers; James and Marvin Peevey.
Services for Joseph will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Mt. Graham LDS Chapel with a viewing starting at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.
