Darrell Dee Beals, 71, of Pima, passed away September 15, 2016 in Tucson, AZ. He was born July 14, 1945, to Chuck and Roziel Beals.

He grew up in Pima and attended Pima Schools. He played football and basketball for Pima High School. In 1964 he served a two-year mission in Argentina for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He moved away for several years, living in Mesa, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. He returned to Pima approximately ten years ago.

His favorite thing to do was to attend Pima High School athletic events. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Pima Unified School District for the athletic department at PO Box 429, Pima, AZ 85543.

He is survived by his brothers; Solon, Farrell and Alden Beals. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chuck & Roziel and his twin sisters; Clorine and Florine.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the LDS Pima Stake Center. The viewing will be at 9:00 a.m. followed by the funeral at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be held at the Pima Cemetery.
