Douglas D. Black
Funeral services for Douglas Dean Black, 25, of 2681 Madison, who was killed Saturday in an airplane crash, will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Myers Mortuary Chapel. Rev. H. Robert DeLancey of the First Methodist Church will officiate.

Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. The body will be shipped to Mexia, Tex., for additional services.

Mr. Black was born Jan. 17, 1938, in Mexia, Tex., a son of Elijah W. and Julia E. Little Black.

On Dec. 5, 1956, he was married to Yvonna E. Straub in Petaluma, Calif.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church. He had served in the Air Force and was a member of the Thiokol Gun Club, Weber Wildlife Association and the National Rifle Association.

He had lived in Mexia, Tex., and Roy prior to moving to Ogden three years ago. He was a plant operator at Thiokol Chemical Corp.

Surviving are his widow and one daughter, Yvette Black, Ogden; his parents of Mexia, Tex.; his grandmother, Mrs. Ozella Little, Houston, Tex.; one brother, George W. Black, Mexia.
