She was the daughter of Andral K. and Catherine (Hofferbert) Vandemark. On Jun 21, 1953, she married Charles Irvin, who survives in Cridersville.
Also surviving are a daughter, Elaine (Donald) Offenbacher, Elida; a brother, Carl (Sharon), Lima; a sister, Ruth Moughton, Roanoke, VA; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Vandemark, Lima; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Kenneth; four sisters: Edith Glancy, Bernice Tompkins, Erma Meier and Catherine Maxine Fritz; and a brother-in-law, Alfred Moughton.
A homemaker, she graduated from Gomer High School. She was a member of the Westside United Methodist Church and a former 4-H Advisor.
Services will be at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, with Rev. William Cronk officiating.
