Julia Eva Hearon Flynn, age 93, was born February 24, 1923, in Happy Valley, TN to Leason and Barbara Gourley Hearon. She passed away on September 8, 2016, at Shannondale of Maryville, her home for the last two years. By Divine Intervention, she met the love of her life through a friend and married Arvil M. Flynn on August 8, 1942. They were married 64 years when Arvil passed away in 2007. She is also preceded in death by her parents, sisters Hester Ogle and Bea Lee, and brothers Hobart, Noah, Don, and son-in-law William Luckey. Survivors include daughter Patricia (Pat) Luckey, daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Mike Brown, all of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Rev. Terry Russell of Fort Smith, AR. Eight grandchildren and spouses Carol and Mike Low, Nick and Kristy Shipley, and Tyler Brown, all of Maryville; Andrew Brown of Knoxville; Phillip and Candy Shipley of Rutledge, GA; Amy and Brad Kastendick, Kevin and Kristi Russell, Brent Russell and fiance Keira Bailey, all of Fort Smith, AR.; great grandchildren Shelby and Michael Low, Jr., Alex and Jack Kastendick, Logan and Ava Russell; brothers and sisters-in-law Cecil and Martha Hearon, Rafe and Betty Hearon; In-laws Gladys Herron, Lea Flynn, James Leon Flynn, Wiley Flynn, Sue and Harvey McGill; many nieces and nephews; best friend Edna Foust. Julia was a faithful member of East Maryville Baptist Church for 68 years. Her sweet and loving personality left an everlasting impression on everyone she met. She showed Jesus Christ’s love to all who knew her. An excellent example of a Proverbs 31 woman, she will be greatly missed. The celebration of a life well lived will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at East Maryville Church with receiving of friends from 5pm - 7pm. Family and friends will assemble for the entombment at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Grandview Mausoleum.
