Aged 43 years, --- months, --- days.
1800, 7 December
John Nicholson died in the Debtor's apartment a day or two ago. Poor man, he has paid the last debt.
~ Genealogical Gleanings from the Journal of Elizabeth Drinker, 1759 to 1807, Page 619 in Pennsylvania Vital Records, Vol. I, by the Genealogical Publishing Company, Incorporated in 1983.

John, his wife Hannah, their children Seth and William were also buried in the family plot, originally at Second Presbyterian Church Cemetery then moved to Mt. Vernon Cemetery plot 50A-285
Additional Note: Mount Vernon Cemetery in Philly, 3499 W Lehigh Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19132. It's been in the hands of a private family that has been unable to care for or maintain the property and is being bought up by a non profit group? something like that and it is taken some time to accomplish this from what I've been told. The cemetery looks like a forgotten gothic landscape at the moment and everyone is denied access. The cemetery records have been sent to the local University and they've been in the process of restoring them from severe water damage. I found the records for the Nicholson's at the Presby Archives in Philly.
[Thanks to Kristeen Anderson for all of her hard work to discover the above information.]
