"Kent Blachly Stone, 88, of San Bernardino died Wednesday of complications from Alzheimer's disease at St. Bernardine Medical Center.
"Stone, a native of Willard [Huron County], Ohio, lived in San Bernardino 71 years.
"He was a civil engineer for the state of California.
"He was a member of the Quarter Century Club with the Department of State Highways and was also a World War II Navy veteran.
"Survivors include his wife, Maxine, his daughter, . . . ; his brother, Charles of Bremerton, Wash.; and his grandchild.
"Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Montecito Memorial Park, Waterman Avenue and Barton Road, Colton. Bobbitt Memorial Chapel in San Bernardino is directing.
"The family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Disease, Inland Counties Chapter, 1091 S. Mt. Vernon, Suite D, Colton 92324 or to the charity of one's choice."
