Leo J. Hannon, 38, of 3522 South 24th street, Omaha, passed away at an Omaha hospital Tuesday morning, July 7, after a week's illness. He had been an employee of the Metropolitan Utilities district, and was a brother of City Clerk, Emmett Hannon. Surviving are his two children, Rose Mary of Herman and Leo, Jr. and their mother, Mrs. Madeldine Hannon of Washington, D.C., his mother, Mrs. Daniel Hannon, Sr. of Omaha, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 8:30 at the Larkin Funeral Home and later at the St. Bridget's Catholic church. Interment was made in the St. Mary's cemetery. Mrs. Madeline Hannon, Rose Mary and Leo and Mr. and Mrs. F H. Hughes from here attended the services.

LEO HANNON, 39, BURIED IN OMAHA
Leo J. Hannon, father of Miss Rosemary Hannon of Herman and well-known in that community, died in Omaha Tuesday.
Brother of City Clerk Emmett Hannon of Omaha, he married Miss Madeline Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Olson of Herman.
Surviving him are his daughter, a son, Leo J., Jr., of Washington, D.C., their mother, Mrs. Madeline, Washington; his mother, five brothers and a sister in Omaha. Funeral services were held at 8:30 a.m. today at Larkin Funeral Home in Omaha, followed by services at St. Bridget Catholic church. Interment was in St. Mary cemetery, Omaha.
