Mary M. Wanner, 77, of Hamilton Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Born in Brecknock Township, she was the daughter of the late Daniel G. and Jannie B. Martin Wanner.

Mary worked for the Ephrata Moyer Garment Factory and prior to that she worked for the Spring Glen Farm Kitchens.

She was a member of the Chapman Old Order Mennonite Church.

Mary was deeply loved by her surviving family including four sisters, Ella Rissler, Ada Martin, and Barbara Wanner, all of Ephrata, PA and Anna Martin of Kentucky. Also surviving are four sisters-in-law, Martha Wanner, Tennesse, Sadie Wanner of Ephrata, Ruth Wanner and Anna Mary Wanner, both of Port Trevorton, PA, and two brothers, Martin, husband of Sally (Martin) Wanner and John, husband of Rose (Stauffer) Wanner, also of Port Trevorton, PA. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harry, Daniel, William, Aaron and Samuel and three brothers-in-law, Daniel Rissler, Ivan Martin, and Levi Martin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary's Funeral Service from the Chapman Old Order Mennonite Church, 2410 Black Woods Road, Port Trevorton, PA on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. (STANDARD). Interment will take place at the Chapman Old Order Mennonite Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Ruth Wanner, 7228 S. Susquehanna Trail, Port Trevorton, PA on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM (STANDARD). Information and online condolences may be sent to www.thegroffs.com
