This is another person without a recognizable tombstone and may not be in this cemetery. She was the first wife of Henry Harrison Newnham/Newnam/Newman and probably died while giving birth to her daughter Belinda. She was born in Estill Co. but I surmise it was the part that became Owsley in later years so she may not have moved far from her place of birth. She married Henry on Feb 27, 1840 in Estill and had 4 children we know of. If she is in this Cemetery she may have been the first burial as all the Newnham/Newnam/Newman family lived close at hand and this land was owned by John Newnam in 1846 or so and is an obvious site for a graveyard.
