Early C. Garner, 70, died at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in the Lawrence County Hospital. Funeral services were held Jan. 29 at 1 o'clock at the New Prospect Church of Christ with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Garner was a native Giles Countian. His parents were Neil and Ida Roberts Garner.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Elledge; three sisters, Mrs. Dezzie Alsup, Wales, Mrs. Bessie Tidwell and Mrs. Razzie Tidwell, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Wesley and Rufus Garner, both of Giles County.
