Catherine Laura "Katie" Ramseyer, 88, of Tavistock, passed away in the Bonnie Brae Health Care Centre, Tavistock. She was born in South Easthope Township, Perth County a daughter of the late Christian E. Leis and the former Barbara Schwartzentruber. She was a member of Tavistock Mennonite Church. Katie was predeceased by her husband, Leander Ramseyer, on October 1, 1997. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Daniel, Millis, Oscar and Elton Leis; two sisters, Emma Baer and Aleda Bender; sisters-in-law, Nancy Leis and Anna Mae Leis; brothers-in-law, Sylvester Baer and Wilfrid Bender and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alvin and Mary Ann Ramseyer.
