Odessa - Thomas Lindle "Tommy" Dempsey, 80, of Odessa, a retired owner of Tommy's Jewelry, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, in Gardendale.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Andrews County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Lamesa. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors Wife, Velma Janet Dempsey of Gardendale; son, Lindle Dempsey of San Angelo; daughter, Janice Boggs of Gardendale; brothers, James Dempsey of Seminole and Roy Dempsey of Sealy; sisters, Helen Mitchell of Grand Prairie, Flora Alsobrook of Baytown and Doris Cox of Littlefield; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
