Mrs. Mary C. Quinn, widow of the late William W. Quinn of Pocomoke City, died at "Mt. Pleasant," the Quinn homestead on the banks of the Pocomoke River, at 10 o'clock last Wednesday morning. The deceased had been in declining health for several years, death resulting from general debility.
Mrs. Quinn was the daughter of the late Wm. J.S. Clarke of Pocomoke City, and was 70 years of age. She is survived by three children, Lorie C. Quinn, Sr., and Wm. S. Quinn of Crisfield, and Mrs. A Granville Adams of Pocomoke City; by her step-mother, Mrs. W.J.S. Clarke and two sisters, Mrs. Thos. F. Hargis and Miss Margaret Clarke.
Funeral services were held at the homestead yesterday (Friday) afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. W. O. Hurst officiating. Interment was in the family cemetery overlooking the beautiful river she loved so well. The pall bearers were the two sons of the deceased, Lorie C. and Wm. S. Quinn; her son-in-law, A. Granville Adams; and her three grandsons, Egbert L., Lorie C. Jr., and Wallace M. Quinn of Crisfield.
