He was also the star of a daily radio program, “Early Gymnastics with Jack”, which aired mornings between 7am and 8am on Radio Beromünster in his native land of Switzerland. After retiring as an active gymnast, he went into coaching, first with the Italian men's gymnastics team and then the Swiss national men's team. He inspired a generation of Swiss to stay in shape at home, with his popular TV program in the 1970s, "Fit with Jack".
