A Celebration of the Life of Jennie Magdalene Harsin will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 9 at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Interment will be in Breckenridge Cemetery in rural Marion County. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening. Memorials may be made to the Breckenridge Cemetery Association, First Presbyterian Church in Knoxville or the Knoxville Public Library.
Mrs. Harsin passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the age of 89 years.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Larry and Sandra Harsin of Estherville and Kay and Shirley Harsin of Knoxville; two daughters and their husbands, Dixie and Ted Loynachan of Knoxville and Elaine and Ralph Peters of Huntingburg, IN; three sisters, Billie Hoekstra of Ruthven, Josephine Black of Spencer and Dixie Kanago of Spencer; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Harsin.
