From Ezra Eby's Book - Barbara Reist, "the sixth member of John and Susannah (Huber) Reist's family, was born November 15th, 1801. In 1821 she came to Canada with her brothers, John and Samuel. In October 1824, she was married to Rev. Ludwig Koch who was born July 19th, 1801, and died September 15th, 1889. She died August 19th, 1890. They resided about one mile west of Conestogo, in Woolwich Township. Their family consisted of eight children - Susannah, Elizabeth, Barbara, Maria, Anna, David, John and Joseph.
