Sophia Baxter-Hedding. Her maiden name was Vreeland and her first husband was John Baxter. Her son, Ethan was my grandfather.
The month and day of her death was July 18. Sophia was his great grandmother.

MILTON, July 18,--- Mrs. Sophia Baxter Hedding, aged 67 years died today following a two weeks' illness.
Besides her husband, A. A. Hedding, she leaves three sons, Chester A. Baxter of Waterbury Conn., Harvey Baxter of Brattleboro and E. L. Baxter of Milton.
Funeral services will be held at her late home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. G. H. Tuttle of Milton in charge. Interment will follow in the village cemetery.
