Asa A. Hedding, who is buried in the Milton village cemetery. He was a step-great grandfather since we are only related by his marriage. My great grandmother Sophia. Her son Ethan (my grandfather) was from her previous marriage to John Baxter.

Asa's month and day of death was October 12.

MILTON, Oct. 12 --- Asa A. Hedding, 84, died late last night in the Fanny Allen Hospital, Winooski Park, after a lingering illness.

He was born in Siota, N. Y., son of the late Lucius and Anne Start Hedding. He was a member of Seneca Lodge No. 40, F&AM of Milton.

He is survived by three stepsons, Chester Baxter, Waterbury, Conn.; Harvey Baxter, Springfield, Mass., and Ethan Baxter, Milton; and two nephews, Ira Hobbs and
Charles Hamilton, Milton.

Until the hour of the services at 2 p.m., Thursday in the United Church, the body will remain at the Driscoll and Moran Memorial Home, St. Albans. Burial will be in the family lot in the Village Cemetery. T. J. Moran of Driscoll and Moran Memorial is funeral director.
