Paul Edward Deemer, 71, of Chillicothe, Ohio died Friday July 29, 2016 at V.A. Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born September 28, 1944 in West Portsmouth, Ohio, son of the late Edgar Ray Deemer and Emma Cloatean Dillow Deemer. Surviving are four brothers, Ray Deemer of Lucasville, ohio, Bob Deemer of Ft. Myers, Florida, Bill Deemer of Louts, Indiana and Charles Deemer of Lake Station, Indiana; two sisters, Dorothy Atherton of Collins, Missouri and Brenda may of Yellville, Arkansas. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Deemer and a sister, Fannie Grooms.
Paul was a retired farming laborer and a U.S. Army veteran.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 2, 2016 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, Ohio. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park in Lucasville with a military graveside service conducted by Wm. Baker Post American Legion of Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
