Theodore W. Ahola, 72 of Hanover passed away on July 21, 2016. Born on November 26, 1943 in, he was the son of the late Theodore C. and Alice (Shea) Ahola. He attended Quincy public schools, Newman Prep, and was one of the first hockey players to be inducted into Quincy High School Hall of Fame. Theodore proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy then was employed as a computer engineer. He also owned and operated Hanover Air System. Theodore was a Hanover Youth Hockey Coach and a member of the Knights of Columbus and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and snowmobile.
Theodore was the devoted husband of the late Geraldine M. (Hurley) Ahola. Loving father of Theodore, Jr. and his wife Christine (Weldon) Ahola of Hanover. Dear brother of Jeanne (Ahola) Conway and her husband James of Holbrook, Jacqueline (Ahola) Keane of Plymouth, and the late Debra (Ahola) Pierces. Cherished grandfather of Theodore III of Hanover. Theodore is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Sunday from 2-5 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St, Rte 139 in Hanover. Burial will follow at Hanover Center Cemetery.
