Elizabeth Hendrick, Daughter of John Hendrick & Tabitha Hurt . Descendant of the Pamunkey Neck Hendrick Family. Wife of Charles Smith. Mother of; William Thornton, who died in infancy, Martha "Patsy" Smith Dupree, Tabitha Hendrick Smith Harper, William Thornton Smith, Elizabeth "Betsy" Smith Echols, Anna Allen Smith Dickson, Mary Ann "Nancy" Smith Lumpkin, Robert Allen Smith & John Hurt Hendrick Smith. Grandmother Elizabeth Hendrick Smith, lived with her daughter Elizabeth Smith Echols, after the death of her husband Charles Smith, until her daughter's death on 20 Sep 1829, after which she moved in with her daughter Anna Allen Smith & General David Dickson.
