Actor. He is probably best known for the role of "Professor Parker" in the 1960s television comedy series "Get Smart". He appeared in countless television shows from the 1950s to the 1990s, including "Studio One", "Playhouse 90", "Route 66", "The Untouchables", "The Twilight Zone", "Mission Impossible", Hawaii Five-O" and "Walker, Texas Ranger". He also had notable performances in such movies as "The Young Savages" (1961), "Marnie" (1964), "The Cincinnati Kid" (1965), and "Capricorn One" (1978). Selzer also appeared on Broadway in such productions as "Tiger at the Gates" and "The Visit". Cause of death: Complications from a stroke. (bio by: C.S.)
