Dorothy June Evans, 86, Noblesville, died at 3:59 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born in Mesick, Michigan, to the late Glen and Alice (Ferris) Lamunion. She married William L. Evans, Jr., on June 30, 1951, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2014.

Dorothy was a dedicated mother of five, while her husband was serving our country abroad. She enjoyed listening to gospel and country music, and she loved her church family. Dorothy was a member of Word of Truth Ministries in Milford, Indiana.

Survivors include her children, William Evans, III, Milford, Carolyn (Tim) Stump, Noblesville, JoAnne Evans, Noblesville, and Tasha (Mike) Duncan, Goshen; grandchildren, Brett, Crystal, Rob, Tasha, Charity, Christopher, Brandon, Marie, Adam, Desiray, Sheryl, Shane, and Trisha; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnne Gerhardt; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughters, Sheryl and Robin; grandson, Brian Schritter; and brothers, Neal and Jack.

Visitation July 21, 2016, at the VA Protestant Chapel, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN. Funeral services with Pastor Mike Kelly officiating. Burial Marion National Cemetery.
