Randolph was a veteran of the war of 1812. After his 1st wife died and their children were grown, he married in 1851 Jemimia (Wilson) Lambert from the Eversonville community. Their children were John (died at 11 months), Mary Ann born 16 May 1853, Julia F. born 23 Feb, 1857, Martha A. born 8 Feb 1855, and Josephine born 16 April 1871. Randolph's daughter, Margaret, is buried in the family plot near the home. John is also buried there.
Mary Ann married William Jackson I. Julia F. married John W. Cole. Martha A. married George Flint on 16 April, 1871 and Josephine married Robe Wilson on 12 Sept 1878.
Randolph's 220 acre farm was across the Bobbit Creek one half mile north of the log school started by Mr. Hackler. (Jacob Bailey, his friend, held religous services in the school). This was 10 or 12 miles north & west of Bucklin, MO.
