According to his Father Walter Coleman's Will, each child received $1.00 inheritance, his Father left the bulk of his assets/land to son Benjamin because... "to my son Benjamin Coleman on account of his affliction and inability to make a living for himself he having lost his mind, I give and bequeath all the land lots and personal property consisting of all chattel real and personal that I now have or may have at the time of my death to have and to hold during his natural life and after his death o be divided equally between my sons and daughters."
